When looking on the internet for news, I am not one who chooses to read from FoxNews. However, when I was looking on their website, I was inspired to write my blog on an article that struck my interest. In the above link, it seems that there has been discussion about a "high-speed rail train" that would cross across the desert connecting Las Vegas and Southern California. With research done, showing that people who travel between the two cities, the trip could take five hours or more. There was talk of the "MagLev" which was a train that would travel at a rate of 300 mph from Disneyland to Las Vegas. Instead, also cheaper, there is new talk of the DesertXpress would travel at a rate of 125 mph, and connect Las Vegas to Victorville.
After reading this article, I thought that this is a good idea. Granted it will take a lot of money and time to build, if they decide to, but it is also a good way to make travel time shorter. This is the age of technology and by doing something like this, would prove what people are capable of. Also, it wouldn't be too bad, not to drive!

I think this is a great idea! I agree that we are in such a "high tech" age and we want things faster and to save time that there should be ways to get to our destinations even faster. I mean, weren't we supposed to be living more like The Jetsons by now? I thought we would have some sort of high speed travel long ago. I hope this works out, although I wonder how many people will feel safe on a train that goes 300mph?
Yeah by far the greatest idea. It would take time to build but in the end I'm sure everyone would want to ride the train over to vegas.
